Given the intense history of unexplained phenomena involving the Lucky Point area, we set out on a preliminary fact finding mission.  Most of the claims for this location are set at night, however many experiences regarding power lines, magnetic fields and unexplained sensations happen regardless of times.

Investigation tools used were:

822-A  Digital EMF (Electro-Magnetic Field) Meter,  RDX-Nuclear meter (newer Geiger meter),  Compass and Dowsing Rods.

With keeping on the main country road, surveying the near area for phenomena and claims of strange magnetic fields.

Stream & Bridge Area:

At a distance of approximately ¼ mile from the electrical lines and pole framework.

EMF baseline was 0.00 milligauss

Variations in EMF (Electro-Magnetic Fields) were detected near the stream.  Captured variations included radical EMF spikes in correlation with the compass losing true north.  This action repeated multiple times with EMF pulses up to 0.60 milligauss in sync with compass alternating from north-east to west, as if searching between signals.

Older High Voltage Power Lines:

Beneath lines throughway on the main country road.

EMF baseline was 15.0 milligauss

EMF ranges fluctuated between 15.0 to 30.0 milligauss.  Compass remained on true north, seemingly unaffected by the Electro-Magnetic Fields being produced by the high voltage power lines. RDX Nuclear Geiger meter detected no anomalies.

Prolonged exposure to EM Fields can cause vertigo, nausea, fatigue and headaches.

Newer High Voltage Power Lines:

Beneath lines throughway on the main country road.

EMF baseline was 64.0 milligauss

EMF ranges fluctuated between 64.0 to 109.0 milligauss.  Compass remained on true north, seemingly unaffected by the Electro-Magnetic Fields being produced by the high voltage power lines. RDX Nuclear Geiger meter detected several anomalies due to the high EMF, but also pointing in the direction of the mounds on the hill.

Prolonged exposure to extreme EM Fields can cause vomiting, migraines, delirium, loss of equilibrium and even passing out.

Again with regards to private property, at no time did any of the staff  trespass at any one point on the private property.

One of the property owners have contacted MRIPA  for information and to ask that we  assist them in advising the public and thrill seekers that  there is *NO TRESPASSING* and a violation of that request can be punishable to the extent of the law.

MRIPA Staff greatly respects the wishes of the property owners and will do what we can to help keep the traffic away.  These farms are their livelihood and should remain safe from those less respectful.

At this time there is no scheduled return to Lucky Point.
