With over 40 years of first hand paranormal experiences, of many kinds, under my belt, I think it is pretty safe to say that I was born to be a paranormal researcher.  Being on the receiving end of the activity has given me an intuitiveness, an insight into the paranormal that is a valuable tool when dealing with the unknown.  Even when there have been times in my life that I thought I wanted to distance myself from the phenomena, it always found a way to pull me back in.    My curiosity is insatiable.  My thirst for knowledge, unquenchable.  My quest is for truth and my desire is to share that with as many people as I can.  It is my hope that my involvement with MRIPA will help accomplish that.   It is also my desire to be as great an asset to the group and their objective, as I can be.  I was a trained field investigator for Indiana M.U.F.O.N (the Mutual U.F.O Network) for many years,  a member of the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team, trained in  emergency first aid, a member of MENSA, a published author, accomplished speaker and a fearless, no b.s kind of researcher who prefers fact and hard evidence when making a case for the paranormal.

I am a very open minded person who thrives on knowing the facts.  I've never actually had any personal experiences with the paranormal, but ever since I can remember it has always peaked my curiosity of knowing the truth of what else is out there.

Serra is an Archaeologist who doubles as a Substitute Teacher in the winter.  She has wanted to be a paranormal investigator ever since she was a small child and couldn’t even pronounce the word.  Serra is not a psychic or sensitive and hasn’t had any near death experience that she can remember.  Rather she wants to approach this field with a scientific mindset that will help legitimize the unseen world around us.  She feels that the use of specialized equipment paired with keen human intellect will benefit the paranormal committees by creating and cataloging out documented events and evidence. 

Personal life experiences have shaped my strong belief in a higher being and worlds beyond the physical.  I believe sometimes we can ‘tune in’ to a frequency of life outside our dimension, like obscured fragments of a radio station cutting through the noise of static.  Children I feel have a greater sense beyond normal perception.  But unfortunately, adults habitually dismiss these sensations as overactive imaginations.  As a child, I’ve experienced a few paranormal occurrences myself and, though frightening at the time, have intrigued my curiosity for the unknown.  However, I am skeptical with public reports of paranormal activity.  I don’t consider anyone’s word as truth until it is researched and validated for myself.  I feel privileged to be given the opportunity to investigate with people who have similar interests for the paranormal. I am looking forward to contribute to MRIPA’s mission to shed light on darkness.  I trust that my keen senses and attention to detail will prove to be very valuable to the group.

 I have always been interested in the paranormal. When I was a teenager my friends and I would go to "haunted places", and I could feel my interest growing.  After a few different personal experiences, I knew that I had to further research. I am definitely a hard core believer, but I try not to let that cloud my judgment.  When I research I look for an explanation for everything, and if something happens that cannot be explained I use these things in my defense that there is the possibility of paranormal out there.  There are things that cannot be explained, and I firmly believe that some spirits stay and they want us to know that they are here.

 She as a child was also pulled to the possibilities of a higher knowledge, and things that are out of the normal realm of thinking.  She spent many years traveling the world, and learning other cultures. With a keen sense of adventure and the drive to explore the unknown.
