As a child, I was fascinated by the thought of the paranormal.  My grandfather, who was a Minister and a well seasoned traveler of the world, fed my intrigue with unexplained phenomena from a very early age.  As the years went by, craving more information until I started exploring on my own.  I have had many unexplainable happenings, experiences, and quite a few I would like to forget.  Looking into each investigation with an open mind, but concentrating on facts rather then rumors.  Living with the drive of a learning Parapsychologist at heart,  and never-ending hunger for knowledge, I set out to find others like me.

As As far back as I can remember I have always been fascinated in things that were unexplainable. Things like UFO sightings, ghosts, spirits, hauntings, etc. I would read books on the paranormal to find answers for my own questions that no one could ever answer directly, and because of that I became even more dedicated to find my own answers. Even though a Christian, I still do have questions about “life after death.” Too many in fact, which is why I continue to have this very strong interest in the paranormal. My desire to find answers and understand better “the unknown” was than many years ago and still is today my motivating force to seek out the truth. Being a member of the MRIPA team provides me the opportunity to search for the answers to those still lingering questions, but on a completely different level.

I’m an Anthropology major at Ball State University, and I’ve been interested in the paranormal since I was a child.  My father would tell me stories about his experiences and then the experiences I’ve had myself sort of cemented things.  The first paranormal experience that I can remember is when I was nine years old and they haven’t stopped since then.  I’ve read every book I could get my hands on about spirits and haunted areas.  In high school, I attempted to start up my own paranormal investigation group to no avail.  I'm excited about a paranormal group that's dedicated to scientific research!

Concentrating more on facts and obtainable proof,  Darren adds a important element to the group.   With his world traveling,  expertise with computers & electronic gadgetry, he offers alternatives to typical observation.   If he isn't traveling the planet, you'll find him in the lab running experiments. Every time there is power fluctuation or outage, it just may be him.

With over 40 years of first hand paranormal experiences, of many kinds, under my belt, I think it is pretty safe to say that I was born to be a paranormal researcher.  Being on the receiving end of the activity has given me an intuitiveness, an insight into the paranormal that is a valuable tool when dealing with the unknown.  Even when there have been times in my life that I thought I wanted to distance myself from the phenomena, it always found a way to pull me back in.    My curiosity is insatiable.  My thirst for knowledge, unquenchable.  My quest is for truth and my desire is to share that with as many people as I can.  It is my hope that my involvement with MRIPA will help accomplish that.

It is also my desire to be as great an asset to the group and their objective, as I can be.  I was a trained field investigator for Indiana M.U.F.O.N (the Mutual U.F.O Network) for many years,  a member of the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team, trained in  emergency first aid, a member of MENSA, a published author, accomplished speaker and a fearless, no b.s kind of researcher who prefers fact and hard evidence when making a case for the paranormal.

Knowledge is Power!!! This phrase seems to fit my fascination with the paranormal. I don't desire any authoritative outward power over anybody or anything, only within myself. Everyone has seen scary movies, read scary books and heard scary stories, but I was always left with more questions than goose bumps. As with any fear in my life, whether it be fear of a person or a situation, I study it, try to understand it, and usually the less I feared it, hence the power over fear due to knowledge. I'm eager to continue studying and investigating the paranormal and trying to understand the broad spectrums of all it's phenomena. It's sure to be an empowering lifelong endeavor.

My general interest in the paranormal started when I read my first supernatural story.       This was a story about a man who was trapped in concrete in Southern Indiana.  While working on a bridge this man fell into the concrete as it was being poured.  When his buddies couldn't help him out of the concrete they just left him there and poured concrete over him.  The only problem was his hand was still sticking out, so they just cut it off.  Every so often now people will see his hand sticking out of the concrete pointing at people.  Since then I've had this constant urge to figure out the reasons behind these and other paranormal phenomena

Weird, strange, supernatural, unexplained, and haunted are the words we used to use. In my life, I believe that I have experienced, first hand, occurrences that would fall into these categories. Each time I had an experience, I believed with all my being that it had happened, but I didn’t have an explanation. Without an explanation, my experiences quickly became just a bunch of spooky stories that I shared when I wanted to creep people out. They somehow started to lose some of their realness.

One day I happened upon MRIPA and something inside me said, “Now is your chance to explain all those weird things that have happened to you!”  I thought it would be fun to do some research, and try to find some answers. MRIPA has turned out to be so much than that for me. My philosophies about what is normal vs. paranormal have been challenged by all that I have seen, heard, felt, experienced, and learned. Even though I believe in the existence of paranormal phenomenon, I want proof. Moreover, I want that proof to be unclouded by unverified, invalidated myth and legend. I haven’t found any answers, only more questions.

These days, opportunities are bringing on the weird, strange, supernatural, unexplained, and haunted, but it hasn’t stopped there. Bring on the UFOs, the crypto-zoology, the ancient mysteries, the mysticism, the psychic phenomenon, and the alternate realties. Keep it coming. Keep me guessing. Keep me looking for the answers.

I have always felt that as a human race it is very arrogant to think that we are the only thing out there in this world and other worlds.  To say that everything ends and begins with us seems rather naive.  I myself have never had any kind of paranormal experience myself, but that does not stop me from having faith and believing.  Too many things happen in the world that go unexplained and brushed under the rug to just be a "coincidence". I hope with my involvement with MRIPA that I can help broaden my understandings of these events and even help others see a world they didn't know existed.

I am a social work major at Ball  State University, currently in my senior year.  I became interested in investigating and researching the paranormal because I saw the opportunity to use and develop my social work skills in a capacity outside of the norm. I have been skeptical about the paranormal, but  after  listening to people tell their stories, and seeing things that  I cannot explain, I have begun to accept that there is more than what  meets the eye.  MRIPA has allowed me the opportunity to question my personal beliefs and grow as a person in ways that no other organization could.

I have had a great interest in all things unexplained since I was a boy.  I constantly read up on ghosts, Bigfoot, Loch Ness, UFO's, anything interesting I could get my hands on.  I have continued with these interests into my adulthood and I am always open to learning about anything out of the ordinary.  I am a father to 3 wonderful little boys, and I am currently pursuing a degree in Elementary Education.  I look forward to working with the other members of MRIPA and learning more about my interests!

I founded Circle City Paranormal Exploration in November of 2006, with the intention of putting a team of friends together to explore the possibilities of the paranormal.  Having personal experiences living in a paranormally active home as a teen, Strange events continued to happen as I got older. I am what you can call a scientific believer. I know its kind of a  Oxymoron ….. I know that there is life beyond our existence. I know there are things that can not be explained. I also know I want to find them. Question them. Debunk them or Prove them. I have come to a crossroads in my paranormal career. I think that I  Have done pretty much all I can for CCPE and its time to take the next step in my search for the unexplained.

I also run a internet production endeavor. Midwest Paratalk Productions and produce three shows at this time ParaChallenged Radio w/ PC, Midwest Paratalk Radio with hosts Gregg (me) and Joni, Spiritually-Sound Radio W/ psychic medium Serenity Moore, and Michael (Guardian 1of7). We broadcast live throughout the week on the All Souls Paranormal Radio Network www.asprn.com. We are able to talk about the paranormal and get the information out to the internet masses and educate on the paranormal. That is what I really want to do. Educate on the paranormal. Let people know that “Hey there’s more to the paranormal then is thought to be”     Changes are coming….just look to the skies!!!!!

I have been actively involved with researching and investigating the paranormal for nearly 12 years now.
As a member of over 4 paranormal groups panned over 3 states I founded the
Texas Paranormal Society in mid 2004 to help, inform and educate other individuals with questions or concerns in the paranormal. Promoting education by means of information through a highly trained staff was my main objective with my organization. I stand very highly for educating those interested in the paranormal and also the importance of networking....I preach it!  Since the beginning of TPS I am proud to have added 4 chapter locations in the state of Texas so that every mile of that state can be professionally and accurately investigated when needed. Aside from TPS I have been actively involved in the study and research of demonology.....enough said
I also co-host an internet radio show on Sunday's called Mapss Pararadio with my good friend SJ Christ of Maps Paranormal located in Grand Junction, CO. Please feel free to check out an episode or even listen in to one of our archived episodes...there is no disappointment I assure you and definitely never a dull moment!   I am a certified pastry chef, do cakes on the side of my main job which is for a burial vault company. For fun in my nonexistent spare time I'm a MMA  cage-fighter, I love to travel and I have a huge passion for all art! Want to personally thank Mr. Jason Baker for allowing me the prestigious opportunity to be a part of his amazing and very successful organization. Look forward to many years of future bliss!

In the past several years, I have been on a path guided toward spiritual growth and seeking the truth of "what's out there."  I've had a number of paranormal occurrences throughout my life; evidence of a spiritual presence as well as visual sightings.  I am actively involved with animal rescues and very much support animal rights.

My interest in the paranormal started at a young age, it wasn't until I moved to southern Indiana that things started going bump in the night.  Although I'm a true believer of ghosts, spirits, UFOs, and the like, I tend to remain a bit skeptical and overly cautious as a way to avoid any quick judgment.  I'm someone that takes a more scientific approach with data and analyzing concrete evidence while investigating.  When I'm not actively working on a paranormal case, I am working at my day job as a Human Resources Administrator or spending time with my friends and family.

When I was approximately 9 years old I had my first paranormal experience. I still remember it so vividly 30 years later. I never told anyone that story until I was in High School.. that person being Jason Baker. I have had a few other instances in my life, whether it's called luck, intuition or paranormal, all I can say is that it leaves me wondering what it really was. I'm excited to start this new chapter in my life and I look forward to see what's out there.
